Maynard Louis Bartling, 63, of 829 Idlewild Way, Sarasota, died Saturday morning at Sarasota Memorial Hospital.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Edith Marie Honer; and a sister-in-law Madelyn Honer. then Michigan Territory, in which he has since resided. Cull; a sister, MaryAnn (Phil) Ryan; a brother, Mick Cull; his fiancee, Rita Raisbeck and her daughter, Tiffany; many nieces and nephews and his former wife, Julie Metcalf Cull. Clad in rags, and gnawing a bone, he was the central attraction for huge crowds who gathered round his cage and listened to him growling and roaring. The Manitowoc County Historical Society has received a Wisconsin Humanities Mini Grant. After his retirement they moved to Fennimore to their family home where he resided until his death.
